Organised by the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects, London. A top eight RIBA competition selected scheme to mark the 800th anniversary of the first opening of London Bridge.
Conceived as a collective community - the bridge proposal utilises an urban overlayer ‘Ringway’, elevated aerial streets and initiates layered exploration and experience.
A monorail transit link between London Bridge and Bank Stations is incorporated running along side an inhabited central spine and a re-instated deck commuter route.
Tidal power turbines and energy station is the prime energy source - no obtrusive windmills.
