Collaboration: With Corinna Simon - Architect.
Situated within east London's art community - this slender tapering site marks a pivotal destination point and location for a new east end artistic scene. Replacing a tired existing 1950's building - the proposal would have included a concealed ground corner art-gallery at the heart of the street with unique apartments above.
A detached roof living container with forward angle performance glass would allow for immediate views over a 'tops of trees' - tree terrace and London beyond. An anodised aluminium square tile facade skin with projecting large square windows was also proposed.
