The central entrance ‘arrival-hub’ and stair core lead to all levels, allowing for the sensation of ascending upwards to a place of light and spectacular views. Living is informal and formal with the main informal open plan living and dining areas at the front and formal cellular intimate sleeping areas to the rear. Kitchen, bathrooms and services are located centrally within the core for servicing clarity.
Both front and rear spaces have large external deck terraces enclosed at either side by sheltered triangulated weather sun-shields and canopy peaks above.
The stair core follows up to a generous roof deck with access through an automatic hydraulic flush glass hatch. The glass hatch allows light to filter down the stairs to ground level. An overhead canopy and weather electronics ‘boom’ serves as a dual purpose - sun-shading with environmental data monitoring, retrieval and display panels.
